Ameriform Coatings was founded in 2003 by David Stork. Dave spent years working the production line at Buick, watching the same problems repeat themselves — paint adhesion failures, dies that wore out faster than they should, and mounting waste from petroleum-based lubricants that were hard on equipment and harder on the environment. Convinced there had to be a cleaner, more durable alternative, he set out to build one. AMERIFORM® was the result.
More than two decades later, we're still a family-run company built around hands-on plant support and deep technical expertise. We don't just ship product — we work alongside your engineering and maintenance teams to survey your line, dial in application, and solve the specific forming, coating, or cutting challenges you're facing. And because AMERIFORM® is formulated without the petroleum distillates, sulfur, or animal fats found in traditional die lubricants, it stays environmentally friendly from the die to the drain.
Based in Michigan, we serve manufacturers across North America — primarily Tier 1, 2, and 3 automotive suppliers, though AMERIFORM® has also proven itself in laser cutting applications, where it reduces glare and improves cutting accuracy.
