AMERIFORM®

A very tough, tenacious polymeric dry film. With its unique patent-holding properties, we've blended different types of polymers to give the product its unique ability to handle very deep draws — acting like an extension ladder, as one polymer reaches its end point for heat, the next takes over, allowing the metal to flow as easily deep in the draw as at the beginning.

Not like the other “dry lubricants”

AMERIFORM® is so different from other so-called dry lubricants that we can't show all the differences here. It is not a stearate soap. It has no paraffin wax. It has no animal fat. There is no sulfur or petroleum distillates. It washes off in a particulate state, allowing for easy filtering and extending wash-bath life.

What advantages does this give you?

There is no build-up in the die.

No wastewater issues or sludge haul-offs — AMERIFORM® is made with food-grade raw materials and can be released directly to the drain.

It can be burned off in an annealing oven without harm to the oven's atmosphere.
